Recently, the Liaoning Provincial Department of Transport issued a notice on the "Implementation Plan for Promoting Differentiated Toll Collection on Expressways in Liaoning Province and Exempting Hydrogen Fuel Cell Trucks from Vehicle Toll Fees."
The document states that a reservation system will be implemented for hydrogen fuel cell trucks that travel on expressways in Liaoning Province and normally use ETC. After making a reservation and passing the review through the "Liaoning Expressway Pass" WeChat mini-program, these trucks will be exempted from vehicle toll fees through a differentiated approach. The policy will be implemented for a period of three years, starting from May 16, 2025.
